In this, the third class, we begin to explore the mechanisms by which the body generates and uses heat, and how, when out of balance, this heat can lead to cranio-fascial dysfunctions.
We also begin exploring the Shadow, the Nigredo of the alchemists, the dark night of the soul. Mirror work comes into play, as we shine a light on the notions we keep hidden. Clarity being the hallmark of a good therapist’s skill, we will utilize techniques and contacts in this class that are designed for raising us up, out of our ashes and into the sacred fire of transmutation, the fire that never dies.
We will focus on the arterial and veinous blood, the mandible, the calvarium of the skull, the liver, the long bones, and cranial components of headache and migraine, in their various forms.
maximum hands-on guidance and attention
I try to keep the student:teacher ratio at no more than 4:1, so that each person gets plenty of hands-on attention and direction. Small class sizes are ideal for ensuring this sort of interaction with the lessons offered.
